Anju is very down to earth, a friendly, easy-going person with an exceptional flayer for teaching and understanding others where anyone will be comfortable being with her.

After coming to New Zealand, I had given up my passion for dancing. But after meeting Anju my passion rekindled. I have not met a multi-talented person like her, who is not only a good dance teacher but also teaches how to paint, cook, and consult businesses for marketing ideas and the list is never-ending.

I also had a dream of performing on the stage which was possible only because of Anju and the Bollywood Party in NZ. I have known Anju for the past 5 years when my daughter, Jada, at the age of 5, first enrolled as a new dance student. Never having danced before, Jada, was extremely nervous. But she very quickly realised that Anju was caring, loving, patient, firm but fair, and treated her students like her family.
Today, 5 years later, Jada is still learning various forms of Bollywood dancing. She has grown in her confidence and has performed at numerous birthday parties and weddings, and recently has performed as a solo artist.
Through my daughter, I too, decided to try dancing and have also performed at a few events.
So regardless of your age, if you want to keep fit, or wish to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself, then I would recommend giving it a go.

I would highly recommend Anju and her dance classes.

I joined Anju’s dance classes last year and am back this year. Anju’s point of difference is the individual attention she gives to each student. Her classes are not only about movement but also about expressions and feeling the true joy in yourselves while dancing. Anju brings the best out of her students particularly those who are non-professional dancers. We performed at the Diwali function last year and Anju tirelessly conducted practices till we were all well-coordinated! Being part of Anju’s cultural studio is like being part of a family- our classes did not end with just performances but there was an award function where Anju prepared some beautiful dishes for her students.

Yes, Anju is a woman of many talents- and also does catering and events. I would highly recommend Anju- join her classes and feel the true joy of dancing💕
