Cyclone - Corporate Bollywood party
We hosted an extravagant Bollywood party with a fully stocked bar for Cyclone Computers, a Wellington-based company, in 2022. The event catered to 200 attendees as an exclusive post-conference gathering. The evening was full of competition, prices, dance, colours and unlimited flavourful cuisine of India
Bollywood party with Shortland Street - Auckland Council
In 2020, over 700 community members gathered for an extravagant ‘Bollywood party with Shortland Street,’ a celebration organised in collaboration with the Auckland City Council. Anju, was an event designer, and MC with 40 professional crew working with her, presenting Diwali food, dance, decor, and costumes.
Diwali at PMI Auckland
In 2022, we hosted a vibrant cultural afternoon at PMI to celebrate Diwali. The event featured an engaging photo booth with colorful props, the henna artist, dance performances by the talented Medha, and a dance workshop led by our expert, Anju. It was a day filled with cultural richness and joyful festivities.
Mid Winter Christmas Party
In 2019, we hosted a glamorous Bollywood party at a beautiful home in Ellerslie, right in the heart of winter. This private event had dazzling costumes, a theme created by the host and us, and a warm Indian welcome and entertainment. The evening’s highlight was a delicious curry, the dance workshop and everyone looked like a Bollywood star.
Backyard Bollywood Party at Hellaby
Hellaby’s home was transformed into a Bollywood-themed party twice, in 2013 for a birthday and in 2017 for a charity event. It dazzled mainly with lavish costumes hired from our studio. An Indian decor, choreographed dances for the host with a delicious menu. The dance workshop happened frequently as everyone was in the mood to dance.
Ray White Remuera Staff Bollywood Party
Our Bollywood costume hire studio once dressed up the Remuera Ray White office staff. These fantastic photos are by unknown photographers. These pictures have been highlighted throughout our website. In fact, our Bollywood Studio won the Best Costume Award at the Ray White conference with nearly 1,000 attendees in Melbourne.
Sarah 21st Birthday party
In the middle of the pandemic, we had the pleasure of organising Sarah’s 21st birthday party with food, dance and so many costumes. Taste of India - Auckland Council
This event was memorable for all our Bollywood party team. An idea to create an experience of India from the east, west, south, and east. Presenting delicacies from each part, cultural performances, and guest speakers from that particular part talking about the rich culture. The event was designed, MC’d, and presented by Anju in 2020.
Wilco Precast Ltd - Bollywood Corporate Party
We had the pleasure of hosting a Bollywood party for Wilco Precast Ltd. Mandy and Andrwe’s kindness towards their staff was the highlight for us to feel proud to present the fun party for them. Backyard summer wedding
In January 2022, after a lockdown, we had the privilege of arranging an intimate backyard summer wedding. The event was attended by close friends and family. For the haldi night, we set up a simple outdoor venue and treated everyone to a delightful grazing table. Our Bollywood dance workshop was a highlight. Get to know about our weddings.
Dancing Queens and a King at City Diwali
In 2019, our Dancing Queens and a King Parth put their hearts into a spectacular performance at City Diwali. We dedicated countless hours to rehearsing, and under Anju’s skilled choreography, we delivered a show-stopping performance. Our stunning costumes and hard work received well-deserved praise. A memorable year and fantastic team work.
Bollywood Party in Paihia- Diwali 2021
In 2020, we were a part of nearly 30 Diwali events, including a special celebration in Paihia. A renowned beachfront restaurant bar in Paihia partnered with us to create a memorable Bollywood cultural night for Diwali. Anju led the event as an MC and performer, taking the audience on a visual journey through India with Rachel, Shwetha and Deepa.
Wedding Buffet Dinner
Wedding Buffet Dinner was organised for a lovely wedding in Mt Eden in 2022. Presenting serving staff, set up with an extensive menu. From January to March our team is usually busy with weddings, engagements, sangeet, and mehendi nights. Team Bollywood party worked efficiently to make sure every part of the night was looked after. Our team – Bharati, Anna, Mia, Maddi, Deepa, Nicky, and Anju.

In 2018 we presented a Bollywood-themed party in Karak, Auckland at the well-known old age home. With the decor set up, various workshops, costumes, dance performances, a photo booth, a buffet dinner, and much more. Our team – Anju as MC and organiser, Shweta, catering manager Bharati along with Shweta, Shwetha, Mihiika, Shina, and decoration helper Parth.
Friends re union party
In 2019 a group of friends had a reunion party at our studio with a dress-up and buffet lunch. It was a fun multicolor afternoon. Everyone was delighted to try on different colours and change the gear in between a photo shoot. our team didi exceptionally well and handled everything carefully.
Dress up booking from London!
One day in 2018, we received an email from London inquiring about costume hire. We kindly replied, expressing regret that we are based in Auckland, New Zealand, and unable to send costumes. The response we received was surprising: “I am from London; I found you on Google for costume hire. We are a group of friends coming and need help in draping and hiring.” We felt incredibly fortunate to dress this lovely group of people for the wedding they were attending.

Dear Anju – Bollywood Parties
Thank You so very much for organising and running the most amazing Bollywood party for our work Xmas function. From our first meeting, your professionalism was apparent and I knew that this was going to be something special. You were more than accommodating to the numerous staff that came for fittings for their costumes and they all looked amazingly authentic.
Our evening started with a Sitar playing while guests arrived followed by an official Indian welcome. Then our costumes (Oh how amazing we all felt in the gorgeous Sari, the fun Bollywood DJ and the colourful themed venue. We were entertained by numerous Indian dancers while eating a tasty authentic Indian dinner. No detail was missed. After dinner, our staff were treated to a lesson in Bollywood dancing which was so much fun and such a delight for our Indian staff to watch us enjoying their culture.
The evening ran like clockwork and I could enjoy our guests and dancing knowing that Anju had it all under control. Beautiful Indian bags and jewellery boxes were given to the ladies at the completion of the evening which was a perfect end to a perfect night. So much fun was had by all.
There was another work party in the next-door room and they all came and joined us dancing to Bollywood music after seeing how much fun we were having. Thank You so much Anju for making our xmas party one to remember.
The staff have already said that we are definitely having another Bollywood party next year.

We still talk about the food which was really well prepared and served. From the moment I met Anju, I felt at ease and it was like chatting to a friend.
She dressed myself and my husband, and as someone who doesn’t really like dress-up/themed parties, as soon as I saw the beautiful saree, that thought went out the window! Anju’s expertise is second to none, her clothes are authentic and truly stunning! Once I had the saree on and all the jewellery (the headgear was a favourite!) I felt like a Bollywood actress!!
Do yourself a favour, and don’t go past Anju if you are having a Bollywood party. 10/10”
